Case Study: Greece's Detergent Filling Line
| Project Background & Client Challenges
A Greek manufacturer specializing in automotive car care products required a complete packaging line for their expanding detergent range. The client faced several critical challenges:
Foaming Issues: Their liquid detergents and car shampoos are prone to excessive foaming during filling, which compromises accuracy and creates messy bottle necks.
Multi-Product Flexibility: The line must handle four distinct product variations (500ml&750ml) with quick changeovers.
Bottle Stability: The two bottle designs, while similar in height, are not inherently stable and require careful handling to prevent tipping.
Induction Sealing: Caps require foil induction sealing for leak-proof transport and tamper evidence.
Manual Sprayer Placement: After automated filling and sealing, operators need to manually place spray triggers, requiring a dedicated work station.
| Sample Submission & Analysis
Both bottles have almost the same height and use the same caps.
The spray will be placed by hand after filling.

| The Client Has Clear Requirement
This line will have direction from RIGHT to LEFT.
The full line for liquid car detergents will consist of:
1.Feeding rotary table.
2.Volumetric filler of 4 or 6 heads 100-1000ml with the following:
1) Up down system in order to avoid foam while filling.
2) Cover.
3) Level control.
4) Filler with SERVO volumetric.
5) Because the bottles are NOT so stable, we prefer to have a system to hold the bottles.
3. Automatic capping machine.
4. Automatic induction sealer.
5. Automatic labeling machine with the inkjet printer.
| Solution & Equipment Recommendation
Based on the analysis, the following equipment configuration was proposed to ensure flexibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness:
1. Table: ZXJ-1000 Feeding table.
2. Filling: GT4T-4G-1000ml Automatic servo filler (4-head) with anti drip and diving nozzles, capable of universal adjustment for the different bottle capacities and mouth sizes.
3. Capping: CDX-1 Automatic capping machine.
4. Sealing: LGYF-2000 Continuous induction sealing machine.
5. Labeling: MT-200B Automatic labeling machine with MX-1 inkjet printer.
