Case Study: South Korea's Engine Oil Bottle Filling Line
| Project Background & Client Challenges
A rapidly growing lubricant exporter in Busan required a single, flexible packaging line capable of handling their diverse product portfolio. The client needed to run four different bottle sizes on the same line with minimal changeover time. Their key challenges included:
Viscosity Variation: Handling high-viscosity oils without dripping or foaming.
Changeover Efficiency: Switching between radically different bottle heights and widths quickly.
Label Accuracy: Applying front/back labels with consistent alignment.
| Sample Submission & Analysis
Bottles Samples:
1. 4 different types bottles
2. 4 different size caps
3. All bottles with flat surface
| Solution & Equipment Recommendation
Based on the analysis, the following equipment configuration was proposed to ensure flexibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness:
1. Filling: Automatic gear pump filler (4-head) with anti drip nozzles, capable of universal adjustment for the different bottle capacities and mouth sizes.
2. Turning Conveyor: 90 Degree conveyor.
3. Capping: CDXGZ-1 Automatic capping machines were recommended for their reliability and ease of changeover, extra require 3 sets vibrating cap feeder.
4. Labeling: MT-962 Automatic double sides labeling machine workable for all the bottles.
5. Sealing: LGYF-2000 Continuous induction sealing machine.
6. Bottle Unscrambling: ZXJ-1000 bottle unscrambler.
